Super Nice Pizza is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Garde Manger to join our culinary team. If you excel in cold plate preparation, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you! Responsibilities: Prep Work: Prepare ingredients for salads, charcuterie, desserts, and other cold items, ensuring proper portioning and quality. Cold Plate Production: Assemble and present cold dishes with precision and attention to detail. Adjust dressings and sauces as necessary to ensure taste and quality. Light Hot Line Support: Occasionally assist with cooking or prep tasks using the oven, stove, or fryer as needed. Station Setup & Breakdown: Organize and set up the cold station for service. Break down and thoroughly clean the station at the end of the shift, maintaining hygiene standards. Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cold station throughout the shift. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a Garde Manger or similar cold station role (preferred). Strong knife skills and attention to detail. Understanding of food allergies and dietary restrictions. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and plating aesthetics. Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills. Food Handler’s Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
